Prime Coat
Prime Coat is a coating of penetration cut back oil such as SC-70 or
SC-250 asphalt. It is used to seal and tighten road base prior to
asphalt paving or chip seal applications. SC-70 can be used as a
penetration oil to control fugitive dust in certain areas. The
SC-70, SC-250 or SC-800 oils can be used to construct haul roads in
agricultural or commercial areas.
